2009 Fall Series
Hello Canby Games Members. Hope everyone had a good summer, and is ready for the 2009 Fall Series. Make sure you check the dates for practice and shows, some of them have changed due to dates available at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds calendar has not been updated yet, don’t panic the dates are set. We had a meeting with all members invited, and voted on some new rule changes. Kenna West will be posting the new rules on line soon. This is the last series for current Board Members and we are going to be breaking in new ones, if anyone is interested please let us know what your interest are. We are hoping to be able to do a saddle again but have to look at our financial standings after the member renewal in February. If all looks good it will be in your best interest to ride same horse, unless you have a vet note, and come to both series end as members. This time you will have to be present to win. Otherwise all is same Hi Point winners from each division and each series (excluding pre-pee wee) will have there name in a drawing.
Please remember in order to qualify for series end awards and the saddle you must be a member. and you must be present!! Just a reminder, new membership's will be due the first of the year. Memberships run from Jan 1st to Dec 31st
A few things to remember:
Registration closes promptly at 8:00 a.m. We’d love to keep it open later for you but in order to get started on time at 8:45 a.m. we have to keep a strict closing time.
We are an all volunteer group and always need people to work on the day of the games. So, if you, a family member or a friend can volunteer as a timekeeper, “dirt kicker” or raker we can keep things moving and get done timely. The more people working the easier the job!
